Acceptable Classes of Business
- Health Clubs whose revenues are primarily driven by memberships that include:
- Health
- Racquetball
- Basketball
- Tennis
- Squash
- Health Clubs that have been in business for more than three years, or less than three years with solid management and good financials
- Acceptable Exposures include:
- Swimming Pools (as an incidental exposure)
- Tennis Courts (Property coverage not available for Tennis Bubbles)
- Basketball Courts
- Batting Cages
- Showers/Saunas/Whirlpools/Steam Rooms
- Personal Trainers/Aerobics instructors/Physical Therapists
- Massage Therapists
- Tanning Beds (bulbs must be at least 90% UVA)
Documents Required for Proposal
The following items must be submitted before we can determine acceptability of risk in this program:
- Completed signed and dated Health and Fitness Club Application
- Completed ACORD applications
- Picture of facility
- Copy of medical disclosure
- Copy of waiver language
- Advertising brochures (if available)
- Insured’s website
- Currently valued insurance company loss runs for the current policy period and three prior years
